Why You Should Support Great Oaks

We are a proud supporter of the communities surrounding the Wilmington area. We work hard to give our students the best education we can, and support from you could do wonders. In the past, we’ve used donations to hire more mentors for our students, access more resources and technology, and improve our facility. We’ve used partnerships with local businesses and former NBA players to provide our students with a diverse educational experience and to prepare them for a successful future. There is no limit to the impact our volunteers, partners, and donors can have on our students and our community.

We proudly host a corps of AmeriCorps Members, completing a year of service as part of our Education Fellows. Many of these individuals often remain in the same cities where they work after their year of service, which positively impacts our schools and communities for years to come.
