Asynchronous Day
Great Oaks will have an Asynchronous Day- Due to Cooling Tower Replacement on Wednesday, March 11th, 2026.
The CEB (Community Education Building) is currently replacing the building’s cooling tower as part of a facilities upgrade. As a result, parts of the building have become significantly warmer than usual, with floor temperatures currently between 78–82°F.
Due to these conditions, we will transition the school day to asynchronous learning on Wednesday, March 11th, 2026.
Important Reminders: The SAT for all 11th graders is scheduled In-Person 8:30am-3:36pm on Thursday, March 12th, 2026. Students will be provided breakfast, lunch and snacks. *(Grades 9, 10, and 12 are Asynchronous)*
The school will be closed for students on Friday, March 13th, 2026 for Professional Development.
Students will receive assignments and instructions from their teachers and will complete their work remotely during the asynchronous learning day (s).
