What Sets Us Apart
We believe every child needs a champion—a mentor. In addition to regular classroom instruction, our team focuses on building formative relationships with each individual student. In our school, students receive high-dosage tutoring from our Great Oaks Fellows, a dynamic group of recent college graduates and aspiring educators who dedicate a year of service to the Wilmington community. As they grow into young adults, we connect our students with leaders and mentors in their community. As champions, we strive to provide guided support for students to envision their future, navigate their journey, and achieve their dreams.
We provide:
- Students-First Mentality
- Personalized Tutoring
- Mentorship
- Diverse Enrichment Opportunities
Building Relationships In Delaware Grows Everyone
We are community-focused with a dream to build a bridge between our school and the Delaware community; we aim to help everyone grow by empowering our students to be the change they want to see in their communities. One way we do this is by encouraging our students to take ownership of projects that solve problems in their communities, such as cleaning up parks, food drives, clothing drives, and more.
